Integration Approach

  • Customer needs to provide a dedicated Test Instance of external systems for the purpose of integration testing.
  • All the data files generated by the outbound interface on Fusion are available in the Fusion UCM server. Customer needs to retrieve the file from Fusion UCM server for Non-Oracle systems.
  • For all Inbound integrations, Customer is to place the file in Fusion UCM and from there Fusion System would pick it up for processing.
  • Integrations has a direct dependency on the availability of the finalized/frozen configuration in both systems. Any delays or changes in configuration have an impact on the Integrations schedule.
  • Customer needs to open the required ports for file transfer between on-premise server/machine to Oracle Fusion Clouds and vice versa.
  • All the data required for inbound integrations to Fusion to be provided by PMO as per the required format shared by MPC.
  • Any integrations touch points & PaaS pages above the number given in scope section, need to go through agreed change request process, which might have cost / timeline / effort impact.

Training Approach

  • Train-the-Trainer approach is followed, where in MPC trains the customer’s Key Business Users, who in turn train their ‘End Users’.
  • All Walk-through sessions / Training sessions are delivered centrally. Key users/ representatives are invited to attend the sessions. Customer is to facilitate the availability of the business users, as per the agreed timeline in project work plan.
  • Key Business Users who form the core project team are imparted complete training on the usage of the application and how the business processes are carried out, using implemented modules.
  • Training instance for carrying out the training is finalized and agreed upon with customer PM. This training instance will be copy of UAT instance to make sure that all the business processes are configured and works in that instance.
  • Training plan is prepared for each module & the finalized training plan, is communicated in advance to the relevant Key Business User group.
  • Developing training material is another key activity in the training process. In the case of PMO, the training material will be prepared using MS Office tool and it will have all the details of how each of the business process are to be performed in the system.
